Terms of Sales and Returns

 


 

1. Sale of products:
The online store www.aquamare.gr gives you access to a huge range of products.
To make your search easier, we have divided our products into corresponding central categories. Each category has a subcategory tree, which is displayed in a pop-up window when the mouse pointer is placed on the corresponding main category.
Our goal is to get you to the final product with the fewest possible clicks. If you are looking for something specific, use the “search” function, which will lead you straight to your specific selection.
“www.aquamare.gr” makes every effort to provide high quality services. However, cases of errors in prices and secondary product features cannot be excluded and it cannot be guaranteed that there will be no interruptions in the operation of the website or “human” errors when updating / indicating the price of a product. For the safety and efficiency of your purchases, if you find that a product is offered at an unusually low or high price compared to its market value, before proceeding with the order, please contact the Customer Service Department at info@aquamare.gr or via the email form on the website.
When you place your order you will receive an automated e-mail which will indicate the details of your order. After the processing of the order by the Company’s e-shopping department, you will receive the second confirmation e-mail with the products that will be sent to you.
In case your order is pending, you will be sent a corresponding e-mail. Alternatively, we will contact you at the phone numbers you have given us when you register or place an order on our site.
There is no way to deactivate these updates, the sending of which is a prerequisite for the correct progress of your order. We invite you to make sure that these e-mails can reach you and that you keep them throughout our transaction. It is your obligation, in case you do not receive the relevant e-mails, in accordance with the general terms governing our transactions, to inform us without delay.

2. Order cancellation:
Cancellation of an order can be made in the following cases:
In case your online order has not been completed you can go back and remove the quantities of products from your cart by clicking on the “remove” button. If the order has been placed but the product has not yet been shipped, you can send an e-mail to info@aquamare.gr or call the company’s telephone number (+302105448840) and one of our associates will immediately take over the cancellation of your order. In case the order has been invoiced and shipped, it cannot be cancelled and you will have to proceed to re-registration or return of the product, according to the relevant terms.

3. Withdrawal – Returns – Replacement
In any case, the return of products is possible in the following cases:

1) In case the customer regrets his/her purchase.
α) If the cancellation is not possible, the product will not be received by the customer, after a relevant notification to the Company and the e-mail addresses of the website on the same day or the day after the invoiced order is placed. In this case, the use of the relevant return form and the provision of the relevant product authorisation number is not required. The value of the product is refunded to the customer if the product is returned intact, but not the cost of shipping.
b) If the product has been received by the customer, notification must be made as soon as possible and the return must be completed within the timeframe required by the relevant legislation. In this case, it must obtain the special return authorization number A.E.E.P. by filling in the relevant form and informing www.aquamare.gr at the email addresses on the website and by calling the Company. A written confirmation must also be sent that the products are unused, in their original condition and packaging, and comply with the conditions governing returns. The cost of return is borne by the customer.

2) In all cases in which with proven fault of www.aquamare.gr sold incorrect products (by mistake in receiving the order, or in pricing, etc.). Notification should be made as soon as possible and the return should be completed within the timeframe required by the relevant legislation. In this case, you must obtain the special return authorization number by filling in the relevant form and informing www.aquamare.gr at the email addresses on the website and by calling the Company. A written confirmation that the products are unused, in their original condition and packaging, and meet the conditions governing returns should also be sent. The cost of return is borne by the Company.

3) In all cases where there has been a problem / actual defect in the product covered by the product warranty. The general terms of guarantees are described in detail in a separate section of the website. (link)

 

In any case and for all the above cases, the maximum time limit for return is within 14 days from the date of receipt according to article 5 paragraph 10 of Law 2251/1994, the product must not have been used, the product is accompanied by all the necessary documents proving the transaction (e.g. TDA, retailer’s receipt, etc.). Also, in products where it is stated that the shipping costs are free, our company sends only the first shipment free of charge, in case the product (which has already been sent with free shipping) is changed to the same person and to the same address with another corresponding product that includes free shipping, then the shipping costs are borne by the customer.
Especially for purchases made from the Company’s physical store or by telephone, returns are accepted within 3 working days for customers within Attica, and within 5 working days for customers outside Attica. For the most remote areas where transport or courier services require 2 working days for each movement, a 7-day return period is foreseen, and for even more specific cases where 3 working days are required for each movement, a 9-day period is foreseen.

In addition, in all cases the product will be in its factory condition, complete, without dents, scratches, alterations, modifications and without damage. Its packaging must be original and must be accompanied by all the accessories and documents that accompany it from the factory. The product must not show signs of poor transportation, storage and use. Otherwise the return will not be accepted.

Also, the returned product will be accompanied by the special product return authorization number (A.E.E.P.), with the proof of purchase, if it is for retail customers, and with a Shipping Note or Sales Invoice if it is for customers. If the returned product, the packaging is in perfect condition but the customer does not have the above documents, it is not possible to return it.

In the special case that there was no product in our warehouses but a special order was placed for the specific customer, the return will not be accepted.

The products that are excluded and cannot be returned for any reason are materials that have been processed based on the customer’s demand.

In case of ignoring the terms of return and shipping of products either without an A.E.E.P., or without a certificate or with a false certificate (products spoiled, used, damaged, bleached, altered or modified), the company has the right to return the products to the customer without the obligation to inform the customer.

Changes-returns for products that have been agreed to be exchanged, will be made with products up to the amount of the price paid or with an additional price. In case the customer does not wish to purchase another product from www.aquamare.gr, money is not refunded but a relevant credit note of the Company is issued with a validity of three (3) months.

In no case the online store is not responsible for compensation-loss of profits-damage etc. for products that are for replacement -change.
